Greetings everyone, I have the 'always full' fuel gauge problem, checked for continuity, and it's an open circuit at the connector between the yellow and black wire. So I'm was getting ready to drop the tank to replace the level sender and harpoon the tank and I can't find the sender anywhere! Napa, Advance, Rock Auto, FordParts, no dice!

If it matters:

1993 E350 Cutaway van
IDI 7.3, non turbo, E4OD
Single tank (rear, 38 gallons?)

Thanks guys, I'm glad I did a search before I actually yanked the tank

What you can do is buy a cheap gas unit and just swap over the resistor "plate" and you'll have a fully working unit again, I did that to my front tank but I used a good unit I had kicking around for parts. It's very easy to do, pull the sender out, pop of the clips that hold the resistor in and unsolder 1 wire, reverse for install, take longer for the soldering iron to warm up then to fix the sender
