Well all.. Its been a long time but I have 4 or 5 meters available for rental again. Thanks in part to Riotwarrior and the only repair shop in the country helping me figure out whats been the problem. I have really invested a lot of time and funds to make this once again something that will help anyone that changes either injecters or an injection pump. These are the times when its something that needs to be done no matter what. The fee for a rental is $70.00 and its gone up to cover the costs of repairs. Many of you from north and south of the border have contributed to making this happen but the costs were still really high for me. I continue to pay the shipping to you. Then you pay it back to me. No longer will I ask the user to ship to the next person on the list. I did it that way before because the waiting list was so long and if several members on the east coast needed it I tried to keep a meter on that coast and ask the user to ship to the next person. But that eneded up with broken meters and nobody would fess up and say they broke the meters. Its difficult to tell the end user they broke it when it very well could have been the user before them or the shipper trashing the meter by ruf handleing. So they will be shipped back to me and I will insure they are in working order so the next member has a good meter. Pm me you request and we will work out the shipping and duration of the rental time and operation. As always, I wil give you my cell number and you can cann me on the west coast any time of day or nite. I'm here to help no mater the time.

Good to see you got them back up and running. I know I was pleased when I rented one from you and I am sure it has made a difference in the running of my truck. Thanks again for putting this together.

Thanks Gary,

This is great news for the BOOB community. So pleased that this is available to our members and such.

I'm glad I was able to help you out Gary, and thanks for your help too!

It's great to work together over PM's and tele trying to determine the issues plaguing these meters.

We can only hope that this new found program will sustain it's self. As you feel Gary I agree that a tool loaner program would be awesome. Not just the meters but the specialty tools like inj seat reamers and other special tools, balancer puller etc. It would be wonderful to have a communal tool box some time and maybe we will get there if this programs proves it's self and rolls with no more problems.

AGAIN a big thanks to Gary as it's his investment in a lot of time, and money spent on the meters that got this whole program started and back running again.

Man that is still a great deal and very good of you to continue doing this. This really is not having much of a benefit to you, but is invaluable to someone who needs a meter.

Very glad to see this program up and running again! Thanks for your hard work L:hail:hail

I posted the fees in the first post but here it is again. The fee is $70.00 to the east or west coast. I pay the shipping to you. When your done you pay the shipping back to me. This way I'm able to check and test the meters for the next person on the list. Before I had so many waiting and some kept the meters way too long so the wait was horrible. So I had the person using the meter ship to the next on the list and I supplied the names and address. Well that didn't work because meters got broken either by the last person or in shipping. And when a person calls me saying this thing doesn't work. What am I to think when I try to track down where things went wrong. I wont play the blame game. It was nice to keep a meter going around on the east coast to members but when they break and surpriseingly nobody knows how that happened.. Well its an imbarrassment to me for trusting others with the meters. So when your done ship it back to me. I use the fastest most thrifty way by using U.S Mail flat rate shipping. I recall its $10.00. If it fits tis ships is their motto. And these meters fit in the box. PS.. The post office gives the box free to you. You only pay when it ships.. Thats agreat deal right there. Please ask any questions you want or pm me with questions your not comfortable asking here on the open forum.

might I suggest a reusable shipping container for each meter? perhaps something like a small pelican case with foam, so shipping damage is greatly reduced. This would also make it easier for members to ship it back. Just stick it in the case and wrap it with packing tape.

Thanks for the ideas on a shipping container but as I posted. The post off ice gives you the flat rate box for free. All you do is write a name and destination and who it was from. If I had a decated box a person will have to change whaere it ships to and who it was from. 911 has really changed how things are shipped. I'm sorry to all that didn't see what the fee was because I didnot post it in the first posting. As I was composing it I knew I had included it but ... Well I messed up. Its in there now.. Sorry but I made a mistake...:oops:

Thanks for the help, and I need the meter

Thanks for your help with removal of my IP, The diesel shop will be done with my IP and injectors this week, I will be getting the truck back together next weekend 6-22-23 and It would be nice to time the truck the following weekend or soon after. When could I rent your meter? I live in deep south texas, Olmito, to be exact which is close to South Padre Island.

I think DOE meant a case for the meter, put the meter in a case then put both into us mail flat rate box. Added protection.

What was done to fix the meters? Glad you got them running, hope you can recoop the investment

FoMoCo. Please take this to the pm's. I will answer all your questions there easier than on the open forum. I will be able to help you with a meter.
About a shipping box to protect the meters. They are already in a protective box from the factory. To see what the box looks like go to ebay and look up Kent Moore J33300 timing meter. I have several of those and several of the J33300-A meters. They both fit in a flat rate box nicely. As for recouping my investment for the meters and the repairs. Well thats not really possible at this point. I have 11 meters and figureing an average cost of $230.00 each its a long ways off to make that back. As for the repais costs. Well lets say thats a lot more than I want to admit to paying. I'm just glad I can offer something this forum knows is absolutely necessary to a properly rinning engine. Guessing what your timing is after an injection pump or an injecter change is never going to be correct. You have to time or at least check the timing for it to be correct. Shipping usually takes 3 to 5 days for a trip across the US. Shorter for a trip to a state like Washington or Arizona. I'm on the west coast.
