Does anyone else think it's ridiculous that Ford gave us a long skinny 19 gallon "midship" tank with no baffling in it whatsoever? I have stalled my truck coming down off hills and stopping, with just a little less than 1/4 tank. I thought maybe my pickup had fallen off but I dropped the tank last night and it's fine. It just sloshes around so much that it sucks air. Sheesh.

Never had a problem with mine even running them down to the last drop.:dunno

Might want to look at the pickup tube on that tank. Stalling out on the less than quarter tank could be the remaining fuel is sloshing around enough to be forcing open a crack on the rubber and introducing air into the line.

Additionally, there is some sort of a valve on the side of the "shower head" pickup, not sure what that is for but I'd imagine it could possibly cause an air "ingestion"?
