Has anyone ever used beer kegs for fuel tanks? I'm thinking about buying a couple and making saddle tanks to go under my flat bed, I think a standard keg is 16 gallons. Also looked at a Massey Ferguson combine fuel tank to go inbetween the stacks up in the bed.
Just wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone has tried it before and had results one way or the other.
Thanks

No thanks, I'm trying to come up with some sort of saddle tank set up to compliment my existing tanks. I want to be able to carry a few diffent fuels, diesel, waste oil, bio/veggie. Keep em seperate to switch and or blend together when I want.
Just trying to come up with cheap saddle tanks. I talked to a few different party store owners, and they'll give me beer keg empties for the cost of the deposit, $10.00.
Thanks
