My valve stopped switching from front to rear tank. I removed the valve and cleaned the inside electrical contacts. Still not switching. I replaced the tank switch in the dash. Still not switching.

Now, I believe the electric fuel pump is pulling from both tanks. Started with both tanks full. Drove for two days, no fuel delivery problems. Fuel gauge moved to 3/4 tank from full. Moving the switch to rear, the gauge did not move. I filled went to fill up. I added fuel to both tanks in approximately the same gallons.
My question is can the switching valve be pulling from both tanks?

No, can not pull from both tanks.
Iirc, there's a fuse. But it is possible that the valve is just bad.

No I didn’t bench test it. I had more issues with the valve again. I am going to replace it tomorrow.
Thanks for the replies.
