I always just get the stuff at Napa, its around $1 a foot, gates brand I believe. I'm pretty sure the hard lines on our trucks (and pretty much everything else) are 5/16.

yes. the gates that i got says fuel injection right on it.

i stopped by a-zone tonite on the way home(could not find the place that had the goodyear hose) and got some fuel hose that looks identical to the factory hose. it is REALLY flexible and holds it's "roundness" great. don't know if it is multi-fuel rated but right now i really don't care. i need this truck on the road. i will try to find some multi-fuel rated hose in the near future though.

What kind of bends are you needing to make. I've got several feet of Gates on my 6.9 and several feet of "S" bends without any kinking at all.

the "factory" loop between the end of the hard line at the engine going to the lift pump. i will take a pic tomorrow and post it up just incase it is not the factory loop.

my bend is tighter than that, but even a bend like that would start to flatten the gaets hose that i got.

Not sure why it's giving you problems. May help to use a longer peice of hose to lessen the bend. Any photos of where you're using the hose and the bends needed?
