FUEL FITTING

What is the thread size for the fitting that goes in to the fuel filter from the mechanical pump??


I plan on running 5/16 aluminum return line from engine to tank and 3/8 aluminum fuel line from holley red to fuel filter/water seperator. I am planning on using compression fitting as well. Does this sound okay?

1/4 pipe thread at the filter head.

I don't like aluminum very well, it stress fatigues too easily from vibration.If I recall right in the plant we had some aluminum tubing w/compression fittings -they were a headache till we changed them.
