fuel filter??????

Stock type filter/water seperator. How long should it last before the fuel filter light comes on? Changed it a little over a month ago and the fuel filter dash light came on yesterday and today the truck started acting like it was being starved for fuel.

It really depends on the quality fuel you use, although in that short period of time, shouldnt have clogged, likely the lift pump.

the fuel filter should be replaced every 60,000 miles or 48 months.whichever comes first.

I've never had one last 60k miles.

If you put bio in, it will kill the algae in the tank and send it into the filter. That will require more then on filter change to, it will keep plugging.
