Is the end with the hole not always the end farthest in the hole? The correct order of install is BB, plunger, spring and plug, correct? The plunger and spring go back in the same way they came out, correct? Does it matter how the plunger is turned?

Correct---BB goes in first--that is what adds pressure to the spring--- Plunger is triangular and will only go in correctly without force---bore has tiny grooves the ends of plunger ride in.....

The tri-angular shape will "FIT" into it's respected groove. DO NOT FORCE IT. Turn the plunger until it slides right in.

I guess I need to look at the pieces, but doesn't the plunger seal on its inner side? I would think it would be better to put the BB on the other side of the plunger or possible beside the plug.

Will a BB work that measures .172" or will the spring come down over it to far? I had found one that measured .234" but that was to big.
