Front turn signal question

My e99 doesn't have 8mm bolts, but does have phillips screws. I pulled them out, but it felt as if the assembly was going to break before the assembly came out. Are the two screws the only thing keeping the assembly in place? I searched the owner's manual, but it only showed a picture of the assembly removal, with a sealed beam headlight.

iirc there is a pin behind the top of the corner light that pops into a rubberyplastic retainer like the tail lights have.

Sweet... I was hoping there weren't any hidden screws or bolts. The OBS lights are a breeze to change to me, but I've never done one, on a SD..

yep just the 2 screws and there are 2 pins on the outer side

Thanks guys... I'll get to it, as soon as I get rid of the virus I picked up last week.. Been out of commission for four days now... It really sux!
