So what do you guys use for front tow hooks? I've looked under there but the leafs seem to be right in the way where I would mount your basic tow hook. I've thought about trying to use one off a 70's chevy 4X4 or maybe getting a frame mount receiver from a wrecking yard and modifying it to bolt to the inside of the frame rails. Use long bolts and drill through both sides since the frame is up there.
anybody tried either one or have any other ideas? If I ever stick it and have to pull it out forward I don't want to have to wrap a chain around the axle. especially if it's sitting in the mud.

Mine are welded to the out side of the frame you could cut a hole in the bumper right in front of the frame end and put a hook there and bolt clear thru the frame like you said ;Sweet

Get a winch and put the hook end of cable on mirror BEFORE ya go into the unknown hole. Or just get a cable with a clevis and hook and do same thing. OkieG
