Today I was shopping in a wrecking yard and found all this stuff. First off the Hypermax turbo is missing the intake filter housing and has been run for some time. Plenty of dirt in the inlet bell. Its not gated and the down pipe is attached with a V clamp. Not bolts. It sits directly in the back middle of the intake manifold. Not sideways like a Banks or ATS. The crossover pipes are bent to hell also. The hydroboost units are ok looking. One has a newer looking mc on it. The Gear Vendors is on a C6 auto trans. I have not seen any of the electrical parts under the dash yet. I just didn't look. Russ (Typ4) has the part numbers of this unit. I couldn't find if it was a J or P type unit. Russ call GV and they said they could get parts for this unit. It has the 2 inch speedo housing on the case. Are there any takers for any of this "stuff"??? I need to know by tomorrow morning 9 am west coast time. I will full what in needed.....

Any idea how new the master cylinder might be? If it's an actual F-450 m/c and looks to be in good shape (and if the yard's selling it cheap), I might be interested in it as a core for a new m/c for when I do my hydroboost...don't know if I can use my cast-iron m/c as a core...

Shame you didn't find a 4x4 U.S. Gear o/d unit

You can use about anything as a core, just as long as it ain't ****** brake fluid everywhere when you bring it in the parts store.

I'd be interested in a hydroboost setup if it isn't too expensive. Would you mind giving me a call with the cost?

Ok here is how it is so far. The C6 GV was taken in seconds of my posting.. Its a 2wd setup. The hydroboost trucks are the ten lug trucks. One is an early superduty and the other is an F450. I will get the brake peddle too because they are differant. Yes, the cast iron mc will fit the hydroboost with some rat tail filing of the mounting holes. Both units have the 1 5/16 inch mc on them. I wont try to get the hoses because they are usually not worth taking or they have been cut... The turbo is going to require a rebuild or at least torn down and cleaned up. Remember... Its been run with no air filter on it and the intake of the turbo is really dirty. No telling what the bearing look like. Oh yeah... All this was not found behind my back seat.... You guys are tuff aren'y ya.....:moon::flipa:rotflmao

Folks, a set of new pressure hoses is like $50, and they're available at parts stores (well, next-day order), so don't let that stop ya from getting the hydroboost parts. Also it is my understanding that the cast iron master cylinders will bolt up to the Superduty hydroboost with little to no mods, tis the new ones with aluminum bore and plastic tank that need the holes reamed out a bit.
