Ford 10.5 spindle repair

Hello, it's my first time posting on here. Hope I posted this is the right forum section. Anyways, I got a 10.5 axle to swap in for the disc brakes.
I was tearing down the axle and the wheel seals on both sides were seized on so I decided to cut them off. I cut a little to far on one side and nicked the spindle on the sealing surface.
I'm hoping it doesn't have to muich of an effect on the new wheel seal, but I wanted to see what you guys think and what repairs you guys might suggest.
Any help would be aprecciated, thanks in advance.

If it's the 2-piece style seal (inner rotates within the outer) then you can simply seat the seal with a dab of RTV on the nick.

If it's basic lip seal, and it rides right on the nick, then you gotta fill the nick with something. Or maybe there's a seal profile that reaches inboard past the nick.

Ok thanks for the advice. Yeah its the 2-piece style
Will give that a try when I put it back togeather.
