Firewall holes - what should I plug them with?

I'm about to replace my carpet and seats and I noticed some holes in the firewall where linkages and cables go out to the motor compartment. I figure that I'd have a hard time find OEM boots for these holes and if I did Ford would want more than what I paid for the truck for them. Wondering if anyone has any cool ideas on how to deal with these?

I was wondering why the cab was so noisy/hot

Black RTV but do it nice and smooth. Let it setup and cure before moving any of the wires or cables.

Hrm, would take some serious doing. Would have to apply it in layers. Was thinking of using that expanding crack foam stuff...

If you have any old inner tubes laying around, you could cut out pieces to match the holes, then using some silicone adhesive, glue them in place. If you ever need to use the holes again, just make a little cut in the rubber and there you have it.

I would use a silicone based adhesive, something you would find at Lowes or Home Depot, or any hardware store. Maybe window caulk adhesive?

Yep he said it, 3M super weather strip adhesive will glue anything together.....well most anything.

AKA Gorilla snot. Available in yellow or black, so be sure to tell the parts dummy which color you want.
