Hello All and welcome to this new site
Recently I installed a filtration system with a lift pump and my first impression was ok, but the wife has been driving it and today was my first test. The co that I work for has 2 duramax's and I had to take one to St Louis because of the heavy load. Back to mine today I noticed the engine was so much quieter and smoother than the one I took St Louis and the engine seems to be more responsive, I set the fuel pressure at 1/2 lb idle and it goes almost to zero at 3000RPM. I have sent a fuel sample into Avlube and hopefully George Morrison will be posting it soon (I ask him to post it if was good but send it to me if it was bad, don't want to be embarassed). If all turns out OK I will post the pump and filtration set up I used In case anyone is intrested. WISH ME LUCK
