Flesh that out. Do you mean do not use Dorman 7.3 PSD valve cover gaskets, any Dorman gaskets, any Dorman parts?

And on what experience, study, survey do you base that position?

Off hand I don't have a exact year. Before 2010 though. Could be getting old stock.
Do you have the single plug per side? Or two? (Should be single for a SD, which are what got the update)

And it's from the millions of threads about dorman uvch. Just do a Google search. Only one site have I ever seen people claim good luck out of them.
Some of the stuff is okay, just not the electronics.

I do not use Dorman or any other brand of aftermarket parts on a PSD

The only one I can think of that's okay, is the bellowed up pipes. Lol
