factory temp sender output

would anyone happen to know the ohm range and temp range of the factory water temp sender for the gauge is?

i was messing around with making my own controller for a bit to run my electric fans.

I was gonna build a controller to use a PWM relay, by varying the ground to the relay, i could control fan speed so i could ramp it from 0 to 100% depending on engine coolant, a/c high side pressure (i had a pressure switch off a jaguar for this) and vehicle speed.

I stuck the fan clutch back on instead since i ran out of time and was really busy at work.

I lost 1 mpg with my modded low temp fan clutch.

Hopefully I should do pretty good on fuel mileage with this setup. I'm running Evans and I'm quite comfortable running higher temps, in fact they recomend not kicking your fan on till 230 if you have an adjustable, so I'm either going to set the low speed to come on at 220 and the high at 230 or teh low speed at 230 and the high at 240 shutting off around 210 or so with the manual kick on handy to pull it down to thermostat opening temp before getting to the start of hard pulls
