What I've got is an 88 F-superduty with a ZF-5 that I could use as parts to convert my truck to a manual. Somewhere I've heard the F-superduty frame is Narrower than a F350. I know it's most likely got a driveline brake, but I'm not concerned with the tranny as I am with the crossmember and pedals/shifter tunnel, etc.

Thanks in advance fella's.

everything else will bolt in. the crossmember length is the same but the drilling for the holes may be different. I have firsthand experience everything else will drop in. do the hydro conversion while you're at it too.

Thanks Calvin, that's good to hear. Tell me about the driveline brake (if 88 F-superduty's have one). I'd like to use it if it's easy to do. Shortening the driveline isn't an issue.

they work. mime hold 15k-21k/lbs gross routinely.
all you need to do is swap over the e-brake cable from the pedal to the unit.
there is one downside. if you ever leave your ebrake on and drive off, the unit commits suicide in short order. there's only a cup of 10/40 keeping the bearings lubricated. when the seals melt down from the heat of the brake shoes, the oil is quickly lost. a rebuilt unit will run $300-$900.

Alright, thanks again. Depending on the price of I get from the guy, I'm looking to join the ZF-5 club. I'll have a C6 with only 9k on a rebuild for sale when I'm done.
