I replaced my turn signal switch, flasher and bulbs, turn signal still dont work. The four way flasher turns on when its pushed in. When the four way is pushed then my left a right turn signals will work, I also have a wire loose under the dash any idea what its for?

Isn't pushed in the normal off position for the 4-ways? In other words, sounds like it is working.

I have to pull it out to turn it off, which seams backward. I'm wondering when I replaced the turn signal switch, if I have some wires in the wrong position in the big connector.
