egt temperature question

I certainly have to agree on installing a pyro even if you're running a "stock" pump. Just installed mine the other day and found that on some hills I was running around 1100*. Ambient air temp was around -15*C. I had my cowl intake disconnected, and lower 2/3rds of my grill blocked off. Truck was empty, in 2wd, hubs unlocked, holding 45-50mph in 3rd, climbing the hill, so you can get a picture of the situation.

Thanks for the info everybody, I actually got the turbo installed this weekend and it did lower my EGTs a little, and wow what a difference that turbo makes
