700 is good. Might even be a little high depending on speed, head wind and incline.

I run around 600 on a slight incline in a head wind at 55mph unloaded. A hauled 26 bales of hay today a little over 3000lbs in the bed and a steep mile long hill. Pulled 8psi and got upto 900deg for a little while in 3rd gear.(e4od).

Where did you place the sensor to read the temperature? That location can make a significant difference. The best location, for the truest reading, is in the exhaust manifold. The further it is located from that spot the lower your reading will be.

On flat highway at 55mph-65mph I see 500-600 typically but my IP isn't turned up very much either.

I run 550-650 cruising on the Highway, depending on whether I’m on a slight incline or flat stretch of road.
