Well, after the debate of 116 vs 123 inch cable, getting the 123 because longer is better than shorter, the non turbo 7.3 had the 116, but the 123 fits mucho better!! Also did the 100amp 1G to the 160 amp 3g, removing excess wiring ( little more than you see on all sites dealing cause of factory AC,etc…
Came out clean, all in wire looms, looks like semi custom factory install! Yes, will try to get pics posted soon. With new pos cable (Standard 2/0) Alt (101.00) Maxi 175 amp encased 14.00 (4 gauge cable for charge to solenoid with solder ends 4gauge to 5/16 hole) wire loom and tape around 225.00. Full AC, headlights, flashers, radio and wipers don't move the gauge any more!! ( yup, have the solenoid bypass for my headlights, LEDS and airdriven horn ) Love my truck even without turbo!!
Will try to get pics and order soon as I had to piece many info sources to do it w/o hesistation. Thanks guys for your posts as well! Also got a message to Conestoga for renting pulse meter.
Bye the bye, any experience with Delo 400, the new version. The old Delo 400 is all I have used in 5 of these trucks and it has worked the best for me. ( not looking for other experiences with other brands etc...) thanks!!
