My 90 oil burner

ok guys I got a line on a transmission but it’s out of a 95 I believe.
Question 1 will it work without modification?
Q2 Do I have to change out my computer from my 90
Anything else I may have to do?

I looked at all threads but got no real hard YES ITLL WORK

Thanks in advance for y’alls help

He will know right off the bat. I think you have to use the solenoid pack from the 90, and you will need a 4 bolt torque converter, the 95, which would be behind a PSD, would have a 6 bold converter......

But, don't go take anything apart, wait until trackspeeder or someone else with a bit more transmission knowledge to stop by......

The 95 E4OD will work in your 90. The only changes are the torque converter and solenoid pack.
Almost forgot the manual lever. This will need to be changed. Pull the manual lever from the 90, and swap it to you 95 tranny. After 92 the tranny uses a cable actuator to select the gears. Pre 92 uses rods.

Use a good flush cutter to carefully remove the roll pin retaining the manual lever. Do not break or mutilate this pin. If you do, you will be inventing cuss words getting it out.:eek:

95 (PSD) uses a 6 stud converter. 4 stud for pre 95.
You will need to swap the solenoid pack to a pre 95 part.
