I added 2 transmission coolers 15 years ago to the 1993 7.3 IDI pickup. I had to splice into the steel cooler lines to add the auxiliary coolers. Where the rubber hose connects to the factory steel lines has been an issue - the small stainless steel hose clamps are of poor quality and loosen. I few questions before I get into it...
1. Are both factory cooler lines the same OD size? What is that size?
2. Any suggestions on the brand of hose to buy?
3. Where can I find quality hose clamps for that hose? I've looked online and most clamps that small are pretty flimsy.

Thanks!

I don't know about the hose size, but if you want extra heavy duty clamps, get fuel injection clamps. They look like this:

If you're still worried about them loosening, give them a small drop of blue loctite?
