Nice I didn’t know that. It’s a lot more functional than under the bed it’s always such a pita to get it lifted into place, even with a jack.

Especially when it weighs more than I do.
Usually after under the truck several years, it always got dirt etc... on top to fall on you.
You guys in the rust belt have a lot more problems with rusty stuff also.

I came across one of these Ford factory in bed tire mounts. really difficult to find.

I love the looks of the red one, that`s a 58.
I learned to drive on a 55, 3 on the tree 6 cyl.
My Dad bought it in 60 for $600 and 48K miles, had it repainted and a new set of tires.
