droping shots or ( just missing )

Hello guys
I'm a newby my truck is a 84 F-250 Heavy duty 4x4 ( No F-350 in 84 when I ordered it ).It has well over a Million miles on her. Three engines the last one a used 7.3,two trans C-6 and many sets of tires and brakes and 1 new windshield. It appears to have a miss above 2000 RPM sounds like it is dropping shots.I don't have a good history of the engine but it does NOT use a lot of oil.I think it most probably it has some some bad injectors. Please fell free to critique my diag,

Welcome your thoughts sound right but a compression check would confirm

if your idle is ok, my bet is you have a bad injection pump.
if you can make it up to SJC area, I will be more than happy to take a look at it for you.
