I have a Dana70 from an '80 Ford dually that I picked up off craigslist for my '88 when it's rear end blew. Before doing the swap, I found an axle from a newer superduty and went with that instead.
It has 4.10 gears, and I've opened it up to inspect the diff which looks good, no abnormal wear on the gears and plenty of oil inside. It does however need a COMPLETE brake job. I bought it out of a guys field where it had been for a few years and it looks the part, but it was $150 and at the time I needed it.
I'd like to get my $150 back out of it. I can load it for you at my work in Portland, OR.
