The Dana70 HD is under an '84 F350 with GVWR just over 10,000 and 133" WB. I haven't seen the truck as this is a craigslist item but those specs sound like they are from a cab and chassis. Would the spring perches need to be moved for the '84 D70HD to swap into my '92 F250? I have read that the newer D80 cab and chassis need the perches moved so I would assume the older cab & chassis frames were narrower as well. My current Sterling 10.25 FF seems just fine but I would like to go dually and increase my carrying capacity. I don't weld so moving the perches is kind of a deal-breaker. And is there any issue with parts availability for the Dana70 HD? Any help is appreciated.
