I have welded them back together
at one point I believe ford had a replacement kit that bolted on with the u bolts

Two different models the superduty looks like it was a after thought
with the track bar bracket spot welded here and there to the
axle bracket as if the engineers forgot to draw it in the plans.
The 88-89 years was a one piece bracket welded to the axle.
Much better design.
