Looks to me both are the same. Just go to Wal-Mart and get one. Don't have to pay shipping. Harbor Freight has them also I think cheaper. They might read your 94 and 96 but not earlier than 94. 97 and up you need one like I've got only $385.

I wouldnt waste my money on either of the elcheapo code readers you linked. They wont grab all the codes that the PSD can set.

I don't think the '94s had the OBDII plug under the dash. My friend had a '94 'Stroke with the "Turbo Diesel" badging and his didn't have the plug under the dash.

I don't believe either of my 94s are obd II, but neither of them are psd. I have a 95 and 96 psd and they both are obd II. Whats the best bang for the buck for a code reader then? Superchip or edge or AE?
