Can anybody give me a spec on the bolts used to hold the presure plate to the DMF on a 7.3? Or better yet, does anybody have a spare set?

Mel they are 5/16- 18 x 1 inch {or7/8"} flanged head/integral washer.

....I have a couple sets around because they come in both the LUK and SB kits.

I'm sure I can round up 8 of them

I've used grade 8 5/16-1 bolts with lock washers for years now and never had an issue. In fact that is what I have in my truck right now. I threw away the stockers because they looked stretched and didn't want any problems to occur.

Thanks guys. Looks like Jred has a set for Matthias, and I believe he is picking them up today. Thanks for the info and offers. We started turning the flywheel last night, and are building up a Lucky Mod DMF. Picked up the new TOB, Presure plate and disc from Ford (which they now only sell in a kit, interestingly enough), so we should have the trans mounted this weekend.

yup sitting in my trunk now ready for delivery, even grabbed the rest of the DMF if case you want it for anything, otherwise its more scrap for me.
