Burkesville is a pleasurable 40-mile drive from me.

It is almost the land that time forgot.

We have always said that one should reset their watch back 40-years when entering Kentucky and 60-years from that when going to Burkesville.

You will still see wringer washing-machines on the front porches, a Jersey milk-cow in every back yard, and lots of laying-hens.
