Check your fuel pressure....

i went wheeling in jersey over the weekend the 250 did 65-70 the whole way out yet coming home couldn't manage 45. i pulled the core out of the schrader valve and pushed a fuel pressure gauge over it, fired up the truck..... 3/4-1 psi barley, if i revved it, it would DROP! i got a new $26 mechanical pump from the 'zone and it's a whole new truck!! i can barley keep traction pulling out now, guess it was on it's way out a few weeks!

One of the big reasons I have a fuel pressure gauge in the cab of both of my IDI's. Good information to be had there.
