Well they have a hundred projects of their own, and they get up way later than I can handle. punk offered to come do it cause he needs my old one but he is busy so I just did it.
Took it for a drive to the beach to get tuna and it runs on the stat at this point, I will be leaving for Gerlach NV tomorrow with a 20ish foot Travel trailer in tow so I will see how that works in the high desert.

just don't forget to get me the quote on the motor first. he's been bugging me every day.

Are you getting ready for "Burning Man" or something? I have a friend that DJs at that every year. Last year I ended up 16 miles over the Cali border just to replace an alternator for him. He won't let anyone else touch his vehicles.

I dont have time to go to reno, the wife is riding along to get out of the house and she has to be back tuesday am.

Towcat , I have not forgot and I am working on it, tell him I am waiting on responses back from my suppliers, I really wish he would ship the car up here so I can do the original engine, I am finding out there are some major internal differences. and the engine and trans have to come out of the car. Big pain in the ass, but doable. I really need the number off the engine case to be really accurate unless he wants to spend 7500 on a full custom big bore engine. I can put you in touch with a hauler if you dont have one.

And Ken, it is for a friend of my sons who is a staff member at burningman., If your buddy breaks down again he can hook up with Brandon for repairs.

That would save me a lot of miles and time. My friend goes by the DJ name of "FourLyfe". His brother DEfekt also plays there. They will be there again this year. They wanted me to go along, but I would rather stay close to home since I'm "kissing @$$" to be able to leave for a weekend with punkmechanic...
