brake question

anyone ever do a disk brake conversion on a sterling 10.25? i really want to do one but dont know where to start...

IIRC certain vans had disc sterlings, but I may be wrong

There is a conversion kit available for single rear wheel trucks. Nothing available for duallies. I can't remember who offers the kit, but somebody will.

http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/i-31930-10-25-ford-rear-disc-brake-conversion.html Will fit duallies just need 17.5/19.5 wheels, although IMO Id just swap in the Dana 60 out of later vans that had disk brakes from the factory (10.25s never did, ford went back to a Dana 60) vans got swapped over to disk brakes in 99 along with the trucks but didn't go to metric lug nut patterns until later (think its 05 but don't hold me to that)

But most people didn't like them because they use small front calipers from a Chevy car.

so this is interesting.. you also need calipers, and a way to get your e-brake hooked up to it.. not a bad price.. any more info on how to do this?
