Red one looks decent, the bottom of it is dented but I figure with the help of a 2x4 and a sledge I can get it easily back into a shape that I deam as decent enough to run around with. The tan bed is my body style, and as you can see it has a near perfect corner piece. That will be cut and welded in place of where mine is damaged. Tan has some surface rust in a couple places, but nothing major (mostly where there was scratches).

Also, who'da thought beds weigh...what....7 thousand pounds? Yikes they were heavy with Me, a buddy, and an ole timer I bought them off of, carrying them 20'.

Oh yeah, $140 for everything ;Sweet

Beds were also to wide to fit directly in the bed, hence they were sitting like that.

I like the tailgate on the tan bed...wouldn't mind doing something like that when my tailgate inevitably rusts out...

I'm half tempted to buy a couple cans of spray paint and paint it black. It has a cable you pull that latches/unlatches it. Kinda a neat setup I guess.

I am curious as to why you would cut up the tan bed? It appears to have no damage or rust.:dunno Why not paint it red, throw it on your truck and sell your wrecked one for a couple bucks. Nothing is as good as an original panel, no less a complete original bed

I have 1 pint of paint left over. I dont want to attempt to paint a whole bed, or pay to have a whole bed painted. I would much rather try to paint a small section on my own, or pay somebody to paint a small section.

Both beds are not perfect, bottom of the beds have some decent dents from how they were sat down. But, the corner I want is cheap.
