turned up the boost a tad on der deisel royal pain in a donkeys ass while I was at it I deleted my egr valve

A perty big gain removeing the egr valve no more hot exhuast back into the engine ,and now Iam at 10+psi of boost before I would see at wot 8psi brefly.

So what did you do, put a pressure regulator in the wastgate pressure line?

Any mpg improvement?

After I blocked off my EGR, pumped up my tires to 44 psi, and tweaked my ALDA a little, I went from 24.5 mpg highway to 27 mpg in mixed (commuting) driving....

Interesting. That site looks like a good resource.

Wouldn't adjusting the wastegate pressure be a lot easier - and more flexible (adjust it up or down to fine tune) way to achieve the same result?

Any mpg change to go along with the performance boost (pun intended)?

I went on a road trip trip with my dad to pensacola went the scenic route N 98 lot of stop a go traffic with high rpm starts 21 mpg driving with a HEAVY foot wot.
I10 E was how we cruised back at 75-80 3300 rpm+ 25 mpg I think my mpg sufered from haveing a differnt set of rims with fat tires = way more rolling resistance .
