Well it's alot easier with no carpet for sure...

If you remove the seat n carpet you can give a quick clean of floor etc too

Two bolts under the front angle upwards in the foot well one in each corner and then two behind the seat near the rear cab wall under a plastic cover/grommet

As for lube...not sure...lol

That's where my drivers side floor is rotted and separated badly

I would suggest to take car seats and trash out before pulling the the seat out. Mine was sorta clean except few monster cans and some empty packs of cigarettes

....however they can be empty cigarette packs...

While on this subject...
On the core support mounts, does the bolt thread into the washer looking thing that's up against the bottom of the core?

Thanks. I tried heat and chisel with sledge, didn't budge it. But I didn't try the simple thing of twisting it. Lol

The problem is for the radiator core mounts, is all road salt, battery acid, and everything else gets in there and can't drain out.

Well i got the seats and carpet out and put front seat back in. That I can still drive it. Jasper it looked like a normal bolt. On a side note my core support is rusted out. Looks like I'll be looking for a 86 model one but that's another project.

IIRC, there is a nut, allignment washer and larger washer on the top side and from underneath the bolt does thread into sleeve. I would (which i shoulda done) cut the bolt below the sleeve i didnt and it took me an hr each becaause i thought i could save them and reuse.

Body / cab/ box mounts are rarely if ever easy to remove and don't for the most part come apart properlly.

TORCH is your friend here....

I got one mount out!!!! It took a few minutes to drop the tank and making a puller. I'll try to post some eye candy later....its bed time. I'm really sleepy
