I think I am going to make a HD pusher type tool. Dont want to drop the tank to change these. I will post up my results

I dont care about the factory mounts, I am going poly anyway. So if they get damaged, I dont care.

But you need the steel sleeves to go INTO the new poly bushings

Done, new mounts are in. Made a puller not a pusher. 2x4 blocks and angle iron.

I used a 3 inch PCV pipe and a piece of angle with a hole drilled in it to serve this same purpose, On the rear ones, I used the ange and braced it against the frame and a 2x4. Wiorked great and no trip to the store to get parts to make tools.

That is a good idea Mel! Only thing is, I like Poly bushings and it is expensive to buy new STOCK bushings and metal sleeves only to use the metal sleeves in the poly bushings

NO ****, I just priced the stock rad support bushings top and bottom and it works out to over 350 for the four bushings and the metal sleeve portions with said bushings from the STEALERSHIP LIKE FAWK I SAID TO THE GUY

I have made the metal sections with a piece of flat and a nut. Combine that with a welder and there you have it. No way I would pay ford that kind of money.
