My 2k F-250 (duallized with the Dana 80) will soon be hauling an Alpenlite camper at about 3500lbs in the bed and towing a 28 foot pace car trailer with a car or dirt bikes in it. I am thinking eventually I might want to move up to something like F-450 brakes. I would think they are more then adaquate. Is it possible to adapt them to my stock axles. I have the crummy D50 up front but from what I have been told and shown, the spindles/hubs are F-350 pieces and the the difference lies in the necked down axle shafts and smaller ring and pinion in the center.
So F-450 or OTHER? uprated brakes. Moving the 450 type hubs/brakes makes 19.5 inch wheels easier and also part of the package and a good thing.
