Enjoy the flex. I have a nice big heavy Western Hauler bed, and that sucker is rigid mounted to the frame to where the whole tail end of the truck becomes one piece with the bed and the gooseneck hitch is intertwined with the whole works It's solid as can be and will pull ANYTHING but on washboard roads used to be a bit torturous before I put an airseat in the thing, I check regularly for cracks, thankfully, I drive like an old lady, so none yet

And funny thing is, the mounts are fine on this truck.... cab is so rotten is collapsed on it's self.
