Ball Joints

Well I bought a dana 60, and I am ready to rebuild it. What is everyone using for ball joints, and where are you getting them from? has anyone used the Spicer ones from JBG? Otherwise what else? XRF? Napa HD series?

If those are like the "spicer" ball joints for the dana 44 run away from them. They are GARBAGE. Mine came with dust boots but no zerk fitting. I got them and they last a year if that.

Most factory joints come without grease zerks, no one greases them anymore.

I rebuilt mine with MOOG parts. Been using them for many years and never had a reason to stop.

If the xrf are as good as I hear, I think I will go with them.

I am not starting a war here, but I'm not really a fan of the moog stuff. Just personal preference.

masterpro cheapies seem to do fine if you keep em greased. lifetime warranty too.
