Back From A 400 Mile Weekend

Got back in town late last nite. Sorry to have been gone but family first. The Accord ran great after the engine install. Got 28 mpg too. Before I left I called about my timing meters being repaired. Now another woman tells me they were repaired and shipped back to me on the 8th.... Should see them either Friday or Saturday.... Knowing I would not be home I asked how could this be.. I was never told what the cost was going to be or if they could be repaired... Her responce was....."No charge. They were repaired under warranty"....... Now this just can't be. I had no warranty on these and bought them on ebay. So whats going on here... Well last nite when I got home nothing is waiting for me on the porch... So here I sit wondering where my meters are and did they really fix them.
Now many of you know I have around 7 more kent moore J33300 meters needing a repair. Do I send them off or just lay low for a spell....

Glad you got back safely, and hope the trip was a success, that it served it's intended purpose. As you say, "Family First" Always.

About the meters, I really haven't got a thing useful to say. It sounds like the repair company is just a bit shakey. I hope the meters get back to you, maybe even repaired.

Lay low. You risk nothing by waiting to see how things shake out. If they've managed to dig up some warranty program that covers your meters - then they are WORTH all the additional business you can throw at them! On the other hand, if this is just smoke and mirrors and a load of fertilizer, you're gonna have your hands full. No need to add to the aggravation. My .02.
