so i looked at my sticker today and says my axle is c9. what does that mean? i have a 9 inch rear axle?

thats the axle code for the gear ratio and if its limited slip or not.
C9 means you have 3:55's with limited slip.

C9 1990/1998 3.55 ratio 6250lb, 6340lb, 8500lb Ford Limited slip

ohhh ok. gotcha. i kept hoping for 4.10's the truck doesnt tow my trailer as i would have hoped. but then again i went from a 24 valve dodge diesel to this truck. how much would it usually cost to get the gears swapped out?
