Okay, so here's the deal, I want to get rid of my Dana 50 front in my 93 F250, I don't have a crap load of money to spend so I'm sort of on a budget. I'm looking at buying an axle from either a junkyard or someone on craigslist. I've heard that I can swap D60 SRW hubs onto a D60 DRW axle, heard D50 hubs work on D60s, I'm just looking to be able to run my stuff from my truck for the time being if needed, if an axle has been in the junkyard a while it will probably need brakes because they're most likely rusted like crazy. Do I have any big issues to worry about? Any better ideas? Anyone done this before and know what parts interchange? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
