As far as I'm aware it is a direct bolt on.

Unless I am missing a piece or just dont know how this is supposed to go on, it looks like the injector hard line is in the way.

Is it possible for my injector hard lines to be on in the incorrect order?!?
*Edit - I checked the diagram and each fuel line goes to its intended spot on the pump. Did the 7.3s have different lines?

*Edit 2 - I suspect that cylinder 2 and 7 had the hardlines swapped at some point. Will report back after tacking them off

*Edit 3 - I looked around at some videos before swapping them and it would seem other 6.9s have the same hardline set up I do…

I'm with you. Years ago with my turbo install I had to "massage" that line as well. They are very thick and make of steel, so pinching is less of an issue as is work-hardening. I can't remember how I bent it, but if I was to do it today I'd probably heat it up and try it that way, but have a spare on deck or another vehicle as backup.
I'm sure I bent it cold and just went for it. Never leaked, no issues. The only trick is to bend it in a way that still lets it sit in the vibration dampeners, so keep that in mind. They are pivotal to keep the lines from vibrating until they crack-- been there done that!

+1 on Dougboy66

My factory oil pressure sender was located back there and I used that to feed the turbo.

Any reason why my fuel lines are different?

I spaced the filter housing up to clear the hard line just so i could get the truck on the road. I will be replacing it with something different soon.

My point was: that is the shape I had to make it to work. It didn't come that way!

If I realized I could have spaced up the housing I would have done that, much easier! I highly recommend a charge air cooler for your turbo, it's the second best mod I've ever done behind the turbo.
