ats 3" upgrade

I ordered the banks 3" upgrade for my factory turbo. It's been sitting in the barn waiting until this weekend! $81 to my door! But I was lucky enough to call on black friday.

I was very impressed when I pulled the flattened DP out for the first time. That is just plain pathetic.

I had a hard time believing that ford would take a 2 1/2" pipe and then smash it like they did. Why not a 4" or6" pipe??? IDK.

So the turbine housings actually are sightly different where the outlet elbow mates to the turbine housing. Would the factory housing benefit from some custom machining when I get the turbo rebuilt?

the shape is different, elbow bolts on in the same manner. wastgate hole might be different. need to measure them tomorrow.
