The '84 has one bolt up high and one slung down below at an angle. You would have to make, or have made up a couple of brackets. I just scavanged a winch bumper at the pick and pull for $55 from an '84 to put on my '92 all I had to do was go down to a local trailer fabricator/metal sales place and have them stamp me out a couple of 4"x10" pieces and bend them up into Z brackts and cut some slots for bolt holes for mounting and it bolted right up Now to paint the thing.

who has spare time if you do then I commend you but you can never get more time so even if I had nothing else to do if I'm gonna spend a week on building a bumper I'm gonna get something for it

Hey you guys might want to check out bumperdude.com.

Guy does ranch hand & buckstop style bumpers for way cheaper.

I got a few prices from him awhile back- said he'd for a ranch hand style bumper for a '92-96 F-series it'd be $335 for the back, $735 for the front. He also does bullnose front bumpers for a little bit less than the ranch hand style.

I'm still wanting to try building my own bumper.

Hey, does anyone here know how Ranch Hand does their bumper-to-frame attachments?
