ARB Snorkel

OK, I am on the hunt for a snorkel for my 99 F-350, and all I can find is a snorkel for a 2001-2003. What is the difference between a 99 and a 01?

Do you think it will work or am I going to be changing all kinds of stuff around?

I just really like the looks of the snorkel, I have had them on 2 of my Yota's and 3 of my Cherokees.......

the early 99s had a different air filter and tube set up
what is the build date on the truck, and does the stock air box say intercooled

DSD, the build date is 4-98 and yes, it has "intercooled" on the airbox........good/bad?

it is an early 99, to use any of the 99.5-03 kits you need the tube from the plastic piece to the air box. most kits hook to this
and depending on how the snorkel hooks up you may need the airbox also.

DSD, thanks for the info.........I think I am going to go ahead and buy one, doesn't sound like this is going to be too labor intensive.....now if I can just find one for a reasonable price $600 is a little steap for a bunch of plastic, I think I paid $250 for the last one I bought for a Cherokee but that was 5+ tears ago.
