Anyone have a proportioning valve 4 sale

Anyone have a proportioning valve for sale I need one for my 94 f250 4x4, been to a couple of junk yards with no luck, mine is rusted pretty bad

Are you sure your truck has a proportioning valve? I thought the newer trucks got rid of that and used a RABS valve instead.

That sounds right to me too, probably just a distribution block.

Ive got a couple RABS valves on some rust free diesel trucks that are about to go to scrap. Pm and we can work something out.

I bet he's talking about the RABS HCU, we have a '97 F250HD 4x4 and I was under it today repairing a brake line and it's scary how rusty the HCU was, bleeded opened easy and everything works as it should but if you just look at it you'd think it's all packed solid with rust inside too.

If it doesn't have an arm from it fastened to the bed, it's not a proportioning valve it's a RABS. Proprotioning valves were used to regulate the rear brakes depending on the loaded weight.

Yes indeed, with RABS you don't need the load sensing valve because the system always runs full line pressure to the rear and backs it off only as needed when the wheels start locking up - which is superior to the load-sensing valve in that you always get the maximum braking power the road surface and the load on the axle allow for, whereas the load-sensing valve takes no account of the road surface and so is adjusted on the low side from the factory so people don't go sliding in rain when not loaded down. The '94 should be RABS and no load-sensing valve.
